Commonly used on food trucks, campers, market stalls and anywhere the appliance moves with the cylinder.
Filled to the 80% limit this vessel holds about 46 gallons of propane — roughly 4 million BTU, or about 195 lb of product. On a 30,000 BTU/hr appliance that is around 140 hours of burn time from a full fill.
The next size down is 24 gallons and the next up is 100. Stepping up costs less than most people assume once freight is counted only once.

Siting and installation
Siting above ground trades appearance for access. Everything that will ever need attention — valves, gauge, regulator, coating — stays within arm’s reach.
Our responsibility ends at the delivery; a licensed propane contractor takes it from there. Codes on siting, clearances and commissioning are not optional and not ours to sign off.
Certification and paperwork
Condition is confirmed on the invoice. Whichever we ship, it is stamp-verified, pressure tested, and documented for the specific unit you receive.
The gauge and the relief valve get particular attention — an unreadable gauge causes bad decisions and a tired relief valve causes worse ones.
Before you order
If you are between two capacities, go up. A tank that never drops below about 30% refills more cheaply per gallon and spends less of its life on the supplier’s emergency list.
