Flat-rate freight of $540 per tank in the contiguous US, with every possible surcharge named up front.
Where we ship
We deliver throughout the contiguous United States using licensed, insured freight carriers experienced in transporting regulated equipment. All shipments are handled in line with DOT and NFPA guidance. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii or outside the United States.
What delivery costs
Flat-rate freight: $540 per tank anywhere in the contiguous US. It is added at checkout and multiplies by the number of tanks, because each vessel occupies its own space on the trailer.
Additional charges can apply for:
- Remote locations a long way off a freight lane
- Limited-access delivery sites — narrow lanes, soft ground, tight turning
- Sites needing a crane or an extended lift gate rather than a standard tail lift
- Requested date-and-time-specific delivery windows
Where any of these apply we quote the surcharge before you pay. We do not add it afterwards.
Timescales
Typical dispatch is within 48 hours of cleared payment. Transit is usually 3–10 business days depending on distance and the carrier’s lane schedule. Larger units — skid tanks, transport trailers, bulk storage — are scheduled individually and we give you the date in writing.
Because every one of our payment methods settles manually, the clock starts when funds clear, not when the order is placed. Zelle, Cash App, Chime and Apple Pay usually clear same day. Wires clear same or next business day. Crypto clears on confirmation.
Preparing the site
- Somewhere a flatbed can get to, turn and set the tank down
- An adult on site to accept and sign for the delivery
- Gate codes, access restrictions and a contact number in your order notes
- For underground vessels: the excavation and bedding ready, or a plan for where the tank sits until it is set
The carrier calls ahead to arrange a window. A failed delivery because nobody could receive the tank is re-delivered at cost.
On arrival
Inspect the vessel before signing. Note any transit damage on the delivery paperwork — that note is what makes a freight claim possible. Then call us on +1 210 465 3807 the same day.
Installation
We supply and deliver; we do not install. Propane tanks must be set and commissioned by a licensed propane professional in line with NFPA 58 and your local code. If you need a name in your area, ask — we know a lot of them.
