A tank supplier, not a catalogue

Pro Pane Tank Supply Co supplies new and certified used propane tanks from our yard at 5514 E Houston St in San Antonio, Texas. We hold stock from 24 gallon cylinders through to 30,000 gallon bulk storage vessels, and we ship them on insured freight to sites across the contiguous United States.

Most of what we sell goes to three kinds of customer: homeowners replacing a leased tank with one they own outright, contractors who need a vessel on site by a date that is already in the schedule, and distributors and bulk plants buying skid tanks and MC-331 transport units. All three want the same three things — the right size, live certification, and a delivery date that holds.

What we will not do

• Sell a tank we cannot document. Every unit carries a live ASME or DOT stamp, and the data plate photograph and pressure-test paperwork go out with the invoice. If we cannot produce them, the tank does not get listed.
• Quote a tank price and hide the freight. Freight on a propane vessel is a real number and it belongs in the quote, not in a surprise. Flat rate is $540 per tank in the lower 48; where a site needs a crane or an extended lift gate we say so before you pay.
• Guess at your sizing. Tell us the appliance load and the climate and we will name the tank. A tank one size too small costs more over ten years than the bigger one did on day one.

How we take payment

We settle by Zelle, bank wire, Cash App, Chime, Apple Pay and cryptocurrency — and crypto orders take 2% off the total. No card details are ever entered on this website. You place the order, we email the payment details with the invoice, and we confirm receipt before anything is dispatched.
