Filled to the 80% limit this vessel holds about 96 gallons of propane — roughly 9 million BTU, or about 407 lb of product. On a 30,000 BTU/hr appliance that is around 293 hours of burn time from a full fill.
The next size down is 100 gallons and the next up is 200. Stepping up costs less than most people assume once freight is counted only once.

Siting notes
Above-ground siting is the straightforward option: no excavation, no anode bag, and every valve and the gauge are reachable without opening a dome. It sits on legs or saddles on a level pad and can be inspected in place for the whole of its service life.
We supply and deliver; we do not install. A propane vessel must be set and commissioned by a licensed propane professional under NFPA 58 and your local code.
Condition and certification
Condition is confirmed on the invoice. Whichever we ship, it is stamp-verified, pressure tested, and documented for the specific unit you receive.
Service valve, fill valve, relief valve, float gauge and vapour connection are all checked before dispatch, and anything that does not pass is replaced rather than nursed along.
Buying notes
Buy the documentation, not just the steel. A vessel without a legible stamp and a test record is worth a fraction of one with both, whatever the listing says.
Size against the real load, not the optimistic one. A vessel one size too small costs more across ten years of refills than the larger one did on the day you bought it.
