Filled to the 80% limit this vessel holds about 19 gallons of propane — roughly 2 million BTU, or about 81 lb of product. On a 30,000 BTU/hr appliance that is around 58 hours of burn time from a full fill.
The smallest capacity we list in this class. Anything more demanding moves you to the 57 gallon.

Installation and siting
Designed for exchange and refill rather than permanent installation, with the handling rules that come with a vessel people actually pick up.
We supply and deliver; we do not install. A propane vessel must be set and commissioned by a licensed propane professional under NFPA 58 and your local code.
Condition and certification
Whether new or certified used, nothing ships without a live stamp, a passed pressure test and the documentation to prove both.
Every fitting is checked against the vessel’s specification, and the relief valve date is confirmed before dispatch.
Worth knowing before you buy
Order ahead of the season if you can. Everyone specifies propane storage in the first cold week, and that is the worst week to be waiting on freight.
If you are between two capacities, go up. A tank that never drops below about 30% refills more cheaply per gallon and spends less of its life on the supplier’s emergency list.
