Filled to the 80% limit this vessel holds about 5 gallons of propane — roughly 0 million BTU, or about 21 lb of product. On a 30,000 BTU/hr appliance that is around 15 hours of burn time from a full fill.
It is the entry point of this range — the 24 gallon is the next step up if the load is heavier than it first appears.

Getting it on site
Above-ground siting is the straightforward option: no excavation, no anode bag, and every valve and the gauge are reachable without opening a dome. It sits on legs or saddles on a level pad and can be inspected in place for the whole of its service life.
We supply and deliver; we do not install. A propane vessel must be set and commissioned by a licensed propane professional under NFPA 58 and your local code.
Condition and certification
Whether new or certified used, nothing ships without a live stamp, a passed pressure test and the documentation to prove both.
Service valve, fill valve, relief valve, float gauge and vapour connection are all checked before dispatch, and anything that does not pass is replaced rather than nursed along.
Buying notes
Check your local clearances before ordering. Setback distances from buildings, boundaries and ignition sources are set by code and they decide where — and sometimes whether — a given capacity can go.
Order ahead of the season if you can. Everyone specifies propane storage in the first cold week, and that is the worst week to be waiting on freight.
