Siting notes
Going underground buys back the yard. The vessel is supplied coated for burial, with a riser bringing the service valves and gauge up to a dome at ground level, and a magnesium anode bag protecting the shell against soil corrosion.
Our responsibility ends at the delivery; a licensed propane contractor takes it from there. Codes on siting, clearances and commissioning are not optional and not ours to sign off.
Condition and certification
We verify the stamp and pressure test the vessel before it leaves the yard, and the paperwork for your exact unit goes out with the order.
Every fitting is checked against the vessel’s specification, and the relief valve date is confirmed before dispatch.
Before you commit
Buy the documentation, not just the steel. A vessel without a legible stamp and a test record is worth a fraction of one with both, whatever the listing says.
Size against the real load, not the optimistic one. A vessel one size too small costs more across ten years of refills than the larger one did on the day you bought it.
